CHAMBER BANQUET
The Chamber Banquet is held around the first of each year to recognize
teachers, businesses, and outstanding volunteers of the year in the
community. Entertainment and gifts highlight the evening. For more

GRANT COUNTY FAIR AND LIVESTOCK SHOW
The Grant County Fair and Livestock Show is sponsored by The Grant County
Fair Board in cooperation with the Cooperative Extension Office. Held the
third week in September each year, the fair features a parade, carnival,
exhibits, and an ARA-CRRA approved rodeo. For more information call Sherman

OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS ON THE SQUARE
Held the first Saturday each December, the community gathers to enjoy the
downtown decorations after the ceremonial lighting of the square. People in
turn-of-the-century costumes in store window displays demonstrate such
activities as quilting, toy making, gold smithing, etc. Strolling carolers
are also present. Extended store hours, sales, and refreshments offer the
community an opportunity to shop for Christmas. For more information call

TIMBERFEST
The Grant County Chamber of Commerce sponsors Timberfest the first weekend
in October, featuring the Arkansas State Lumberjack Championship, parade,
arts and crafts, amusements, antique car show, pageants, and much more. The
event is held to raise money for scholarships and draws thousands of area
residents for events and activities scheduled over a two day period. For

EASTER EGG HUNT
Each spring the Grant County Chamber of Commerce sponsors a community wide
Easter Egg Hunt that brings hundreds of children participating in different
age groups. Some prize eggs have gifts and money from local businesses.
YOUTH FISHING DERBY
Hosted by your Grant County Chamber of Commerece, Youth Fishing Derby is
open to youth ages 15 and under. Every year there are alot of prizes given
away. Participants may keep all catfish they catch. For more information
